At 6:20 p.m. on January 19, at Harbin Railway Station in Heilongjiang province, more than 100 foreign tourists from Singapore, Malaysia and other countries boarded Train K7041, a “Northeast Folk Culture” themed service, bound for Mohe, known as the “North Pole of China,” to experience the charm of ice and snow. This marked the first time that a Northeast folk culture themed train welcomed a large international tourist group. During the journey, the dining car was transformed into a “mobile cultural exhibition hall,” featuring activities such as Northeast yangko dance instruction, paper-cutting, dumpling making and experiences of the traditional Manchu game “Gacuha.”

The train not only brought tourists to China’s northernmost point in geographic terms, but also conveyed the distinctive regional characteristics and warm hospitality of Heilongjiang through rich onboard cultural interactions and immersive winter ambiance, leaving both domestic and international travelers with an unforgettable winter experience.
