On January 21, Beijingxi Railway Station will mark the 30th anniversary of its opening for operation. As a major hub in China’s railway network, the station has cumulatively served nearly 2 billion passenger trips and currently provides rail access to 32 provincial-level administrative regions and 211 prefecture-level cities nationwide.
Over the past 30 years, Beijingxi Railway Station has evolved from the starting point of the Beijing-Kowloon Railway into a key node in the “Eight North-South and Eight East-West” Corridors of the high-speed railway network. The number of train services has increased from an initial 27 pairs to 193 pairs in 2025. The station’s pioneering “036” care service brand has provided assistance to more than 3.7 million key passengers in total.
Beijingxi Railway Station continues to improve service quality by optimizing waiting area layouts and adding passenger-friendly facilities, striving to deliver a more efficient and comfortable travel experience.
